Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA, DISA Global Field Command, Operations Division (DG32).
Duties
Serves as cyber planner and policy developer responsible for drafting IT policies, cyber security standards, and standard operating procedures, aligning agency business practices with federal directives and regulations.
Analyze and evaluate the organization's IT portfolio and recommend adjustments based on mission requirements and changing operational needs.
Oversee IT system integrations, operations, and management to ensure compliance with current operational standards.
Assess and analyze IT workforce training needs and competency gaps; develop and implement comprehensive IT workforce development plans.
Education
