Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA COLL SVC BR/ CYBER & ENG SEC .
Duties
Providing expertise in systems development, systems design, systems architecture, system integration, end-to-end engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or systems analysis.
Planning, development, and maintenance of applications and services, performing systems life-cycle activities required to turn a set of requirements into a capability.
Formulates, guides, or directs analytical studies to develop strategies for achieving approved long-range objectives in advancing the state-of-the-art in cloud computing environments, technologies, methodologies and facilities.
Originates new concepts, methods and techniques for research planning, program guidance, program evaluation, technological forecasting, and resource allocation.
Education
There is no substitution of education for the required qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: You MUST submit a legible copy of your college transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application phase). Failure to provide transcripts at the time of application will result in an automatic determination of "Ineligible." Foreign education must be accompanied by an evaluation from a private agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
