Summary
About the Position: The Installation Management Command Directorate-Europe (ID-E), Executive Officer serves as the primary administrative lead and technical expert supporting the Command Group. Operating with high discretion, the incumbent manages critical logistical, personnel, and document control workflows. Acting as a strategic bridge, they translate higher headquarters directives into actionable plans and coordinate responses across subordinate units to ensure seamless mission integration.
Duties
Serves as the key advisor to the Command Group for administration and coordination of operations, acting on behalf of senior leadership to task staff and subordinate commanders.
Manages and coordinates diverse operational activities, integrating program elements to ensure mission accomplishment and formulating supporting policies, plans, and objectives.
Supports mission and force structure development by creating and maintaining IMCOM-E Strategic Initiatives, ensuring Command priorities are nested within Army and IMCOM strategy.
Performs planning and implementation by analyzing mission assignments, establishing program objectives, and developing current and long-range plans for the organization.
Provides a thorough review of all flag officer correspondence prior to signature, ensuring coordination, legal sufficiency, and alignment with Command policies and programs.
Serves as a first-line supervisor to front office staff, planning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and managing administrative and personnel matters.
