Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as senior Electrical Engineer providing expertise for a wide range of complex and diverse design projects. *Incentives may be available to highly qualified candidates.
Duties
Serve as a senior Electrical Engineer; develop electrical designs, perform technical reviews of designs developed by Architectural-Engineering firms (A-E) and resolve design related problems arising during construction.
Compile and prepare technical, schedule, and cost data for use by supervisor, Technical Managers, and other District specialists both within and outside of Engineering Division.
Assist supervisor with planning, organizing, and monitoring the work carried out by section personnel.
Review and analyze initial project information; participate in pre-design and review conferences for large and complex Military, Civil Works, and HTRW projects assigned.
Work closely with associated engineering disciplines and other technical specialists in a team effort to develop an well-integrated and coordinated design package for assigned projects.
