Deputy Sustainment and Logistics Lead

The Decision Advantage Business Area within Defense at Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Deputy Sustainment and Logistics Lead . This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) team to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient delivery of logistics planning, logistics support, and product support analyses functions for the sustainment of products as well as supporting associated CDRLs
- Collaborate with Scrum Master and team members to prioritize workload throughout iterative sprints for each program increment
- Oversee the conduct of required product support analyses products
- Provide support to required DIPN and Government meetings
- Execute sustainment and logistics functions based on the DIPN Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) that integrates product support analysis, identifies management responsibilities, and outlines the approach toward accomplishing the Integrated Product Support Element activities to meet program requirements
- Oversee DIPN on/off-site logistics functions, activities, and execution to include inventory, shipping, receiving, IUID labeling, repair processing, loaner and bailment tracking, property documentation, warranty tracking, and on-site lab support and ensure associated trackers and databases are updated appropriately and accurately
- Oversee software license tracking and execution
- Oversee DMSMS for DIPN hardware and software and ensure it is being executed IAW the DIPN DMP (DMSMS Management Plan)
- Oversee hardware failure reporting and repairs to include FRACAS analysis and associated FRB’s
- Ensure preservation and packing methods and procedures are implemented and maintained
- Support the operational configuration baseline and be ready to manage government and contractor provided hardware, software licenses, maintenance agreements, and information.
- Monitoring progress through appropriate metrics and management reporting
- Support the execution and maintenance of sustainment and logistics associated CDRL’s
- Additional responsibilities as needed by the program
Required Qualifications:
- BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Secret clearance to start with ability to ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Familiarization with Product Support Analysis tasking during product development phase of lifecycle.
- Familiarization with Government Property Accountability systems, such as DPAS or ServiceNow type.
- Familiarization with DOD practices for IUID marking and registration.
- Knowledge of Government Property Management and FAR 52.245-1(b) requirements.
- Familiarization with Logistics Management Information (LMI) systems and GEIA-STD-0007.
- Experience supporting and executing Logistics and Product Support CDRLs.
- Experience overseeing and leading inventory management, shipping, and receiving functions.
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple disciplines, domains, contractors, government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Must be able to work independently, proactively, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong organization skills.

Pay Range:
