Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for STRL Mission Support. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.
Duties
You will assist senior contract specialists in the negotiation and administration of contracts and orders between the Government and contractors.
You will assist in reviewing purchase requests for completeness and clarity.
You will assist in preparing pre-award documentation and solicit contractor offers under the guidance of senior specialists.
You will analyze contractor offers and perform basic cost and price analysis.
You will prepare contract award documents for review and approval.
Education
Basic Requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. In addition to the above basic requirement, in lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: DA-03: 2 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree or LL.B. or J.D. DA-02: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. NOTE: The education requirements listed above apply only to individuals entering DoD GS-1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent)-1102 or before September 30, 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
