Duties
Serving as a Administrative Officer GS-0341-14 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Operations (TOPS), NCR Training Operations Directorate (NCR), Office of Cheltenham Operations (OCH), Cheltenham Administration Division (CAD), located in Cheltenham, Maryland. The primary purpose of this position is responsible for serving as the Administrative Officer and Division Chief responsible for the direction, planning, management, and coordination of the administration and training support activities. Typical duties include: Formulating and implementing policies and procedures for administration and support. Preparing proposals, briefings and policy papers to support FLETC's budget and programs. Providing direct oversight, supervision and management of division staff to ensure effective delivery of support activities and services for law enforcement training programs Developing and evaluating administrative and training support programs to ensure compliance with regulations and optimization of resource utilization.
