The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities as the Deployment and Distribution Flight Chief & Traffic Manager, Logistics Readiness Squadron. Duties
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Deployment and Distribution Flight. Serves as the Installation Transportation Officer, plans and directs all cargo movement traffic management functions and passenger travel and personal property shipment and storage activities for the installation and DoD assigned area of operation. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Responsible for centralized command and control, planning, execution of all installation's deployment operations and the distribution of cargo, passengers, and personal equipment. Represents the Deployment and Distribution Flight with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
