Summary
This position is part of the International Boundary and Water Commission, US Section (USIBWC). The incumbent will be responsible for supply operation duties at the Amistad Power Plant, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Division, Operations Department. The field office's primary mission is to operate and maintain water conveyance and flood control structures as part of the USIBWC's core mission of meeting numerous treaty and domestic trans-boundary management obligations.
Duties
Maintains accurate accounting, reporting, and records for non-expendable property; performs routine property management and conducts annual inventories for assigned offices.
Tracks motor vehicle and equipment costs, utilization, and service schedules; ensures timely maintenance by regularly reviewing records and notifying users.
Purchases routine and specialized supplies, materials, equipment, and services using credit cards and requisitions; supports procurement documentation.
Operates a government motor vehicle such as a sedan, van, or pick-up to purchase or pick up supplies and materials or dispose of excess property.
Collects, compiles, and maintains operational data, prepares recurring reports, and provides administrative support including travel arrangements, document processing, records management, general office assistance, and collaboration with management.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required. Suitable for Federal employment, determined by background investigation. Must obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation through Continuous Vetting throughout the duration of employment. All employees are required to be enrolled in Continuous Vetting, which authorizes government agencies to receive notifications of criminal activity and financial monitoring on individuals who hold low risk, public trust, or national security positions. Pre-employment and periodic medical exam required. Current valid state driver's license required. Direct Deposit of pay is required. Selective Service registration required for male applicants, unless exempt. Must meet all conditions of employment listed under Stipulations of Employment below.
