Summary
This position is located in Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Security Enterprise Services Directorate (SESD), Integrated Security Operations Division (ISOD), and is a direct report to the ISOD Division Chief. The primary duties are to manage the operations of a Support Services Branch (SSB) in ISOD. The incumbent will manage multidisciplinary security portfolios, including physical, industrial, information, operations, and personnel.
Duties
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Supervises the Support Services Branch (SSB), providing full technical and administrative oversight of a diverse team of civilian and contractor security specialists executing highly complex, multi-disciplinary collateral security functions across the organization. Performs full-spectrum supervisory personnel management, to include assigning workflows based on complexity, developing performance plans, conducting ratings, recommending hiring actions, identifying training needs, and executing disciplinary measures in coordination with WHS HR. Manages the enterprise-wide Personnel Security Program and national security databases (e.g., DISS and Scattered Castles), overseeing security indoctrinations, termination briefings, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and the investigation of unauthorized classified disclosures. Directs comprehensive Information, Physical, and Industrial security operations, ensuring strict compliance with DoW and ODNI policies regarding the safeguarding, transmission, and destruction of classified material, facility accreditation management, and the review/validation of DD Form 254s for cleared contractors. Serves as a senior technical security authority and leadership advisor, interpreting intelligence directives to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while delivering risk-based situational awareness briefings, point papers, and actionable countermeasure recommendations to WHS senior leaders to assure mission protection and enterprise-wide success.
