Summary

This position is part of the Office of Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of the National Nuclear Security Administration's Workforce and Manpower Programs. This announcement will close on August 25, 2026 or once 75 applications are received, whichever occurs first.

Duties

As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Workforce Management and Manpower Supervisor), you will: Plan, organize, monitor and direct the activities of the Workforce Management Branch ensuring that services comply with statutory, regulatory, agency requirements and provide technical assistance on complex and sensitive matters. Administer the National Nuclear Security Administration workforce planning program and provide input on the development of the vision, direction, goals, and objectives of the program to enable the Agency to accomplish its mission and bridge the gap between the present and future organizational workforce requirements. Devise and recommend an integrated approach to workforce planning and management, providing long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones. Conduct and manage a variety of complex mid and long-range studies and developing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership officials.

Requirements

You must be a United States Citizen. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing thereafter. Failure to test or a positive result on random drug tests conducted after appointment may result in removal from Federal employment. If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, you must certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so under the Selective Service Law. This position has been designated as Critical Sensitive and requires a security clearance at Q Access. The selectee is required to obtain and maintain this clearance; failure to do so may result in separation from federal service. You are required to submit OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of entering the position and annually. You may be required to successfully complete a one (1) year probationary period.
