Purpose of this position is to provide guidance for the integration & operation of DC3 Information Technology services supporting the organization, DoD & Air Force requirements; facilitate business process improvement & engineering efforts to ensure DC3 IT investment decisions are based on sound business cases, as well as approved DoD/Air Force standards, & architectures.
Duties
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Center Information Technology Division ensuring DC3-wide information technology program complies with legislative acts such as the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendment of 1998, HIPAA, other regulatory guidance, and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents DC3 for a variety of DoD and AF organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with proper offices, officials, etc. Manages IT programs for DC3. Represents the DC3 at Air Force, other government agencies, and commercial organizations functions. Manages and directs DC3's Enterprise Information Technology Programs, Certification and Accreditation Process, Communications, and Information Resource Management, Knowledge Management, and Database Administration Programs.
