Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Critical Acquisition Position. This position is located at the Army Geospatial Center, Alexandria, Virginia Pay will be set based on duty location of the selectee.
Duties
Oversees the operation of the District or Contracting Center.
Provides expert acquisition advice to the District Commander, or Contracting Center Director, and the Senior Contracting Official (SCO).
Manages personnel actions within the USACE District or Contracting Center with annual contracts in the hundreds of million dollars.
Supervises and manages the Contracting District or Contracting Center staff.
Ensures that staffing and organization of the office is appropriate to support the mission.
Education
