Duties
You will serves as a principal advisor to senior managers and senior executives on financial management programs, plans and policies.
You will directs the development, implementation, and revision of financial strategies to ensure effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources to achieve the organization's mission.
You will generate, recommend, and implement new and revised financial management concepts, methodologies, and strategies to support organizational programs.
You will manage the preparation and delivery of briefings to senior managers and executives on program execution and advises management on resource allocation while ensuring strict compliance with guidance from the DON.
You will oversee highly complex and sensitive analyses of financial reports and accounting data to resolve systemic deficiencies and recommends corrective actions required.
You will manage the organization's official response to internal and external audit activities, coordinating the reconciliation of financial data and validation of transactions involving financial management policy and procedures.
You will establish long-range work plans, schedules and organization objectives, while setting performance expectations to maintain continuity of operational requirements, prevent delays, and ensure efficient mission support.
