Summary
This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division of Business Transformation and Product Management, Office of Administrative Operations. The incumbent is responsible for driving business process enhancements and formulating comprehensive product strategies that further agency objectives ensuring alignment between information technology solutions and operational demands.
Duties
As a Strategic Integrator, duties will consist of, but are not limited to the following: Develops project plans, establishes schedules and milestones, coordinates stakeholder participation, tracks deliverables, and monitors project performance to ensure timely completion of assigned objectives. Monitors project milestones, identifies systemic risks affecting multiple projects or organizations, develops alternative courses of action to mitigate implementation risks, and recommends solutions for management consideration where competing organizational interests or technical limitations must be reconciled. Conducts complex studies of WHD business operations, administrative processes, organizational workflows, and program requirements to support modernization efforts and improve organizational effectiveness. Evaluates proposed system changes to determine operational, procedural, staffing, training, and organizational impacts. Serves as project manager for assigned WHD modernization initiatives involving business systems, information resources, and operational improvement efforts. Supports governance activities by preparing project documentation, monitoring implementation progress, and ensuring assigned initiatives remain aligned with Agency priorities and established program objectives. Analyzes conflicting business requirements, evaluates operational trade-offs, identifies downstream impacts to interconnected business processes, and develops recommendations that optimize enterprise business operations while supporting modernization objectives.
