Summary

About the Position: Serve as principal consultant and technical expert advisor for the District on all matters pertaining to the Real Estate program.

Duties

Plan and organize the broad phases of work, programs, projects, and processes of real estate activities.

Coordinate planning, work objectives, and significant program/project issues with that of other program divisions of the district, higher echelons, other government agencies and private interests, through correspondence and consultation.

Determine the technical and administrative policies, procedures, and methods of achieving results in the orderly execution of all District real estate program requirements.

Organize, control, coordinate, budget and schedule the efforts of the subordinate branches within the Division.

Participate in the negotiations for acquisition, management and disposal of real estate involving complex agreements, and dealings with influential officials of corporations and government.

Conduct personnel management through subordinate supervisors and/or team leaders.
