Summary
You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Ranges, Targets Ops & Labs, Threat Target Systems Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will lead unit evaluation teams to observe, audit, and evaluate various military, government civilian, and contractor personnel as they operate various aerial targets.
You will oversee the TTOPS School House at Point Mugu that is the Navy’s central point for teaching formal operator courses to world-wide target operators.
You will be responsible for training 10 to 15 instructors across the TTOPS units and the evaluators that serve as inspectors during unit evaluations.
You will serve as the liaison between PMA-208 (aerial target program office) lead engineers and the NAVAIR Airworthiness and Cybersafe Office (ACO) on engineering investigations and engineering-related issues.
You will research and translate operational issues into meaningful recommendation and applies independent judgement on the content of engineering change requests.
