Duties

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Senior Joint Operations Plans Officer leading and analyzing joint operational planning capability requirements and provides strategic planning guidance involving broad, undefined complex issues that are both recurring and situational in nature. Duties: Provides direct analytical and expert support to the Branch Chief and the Division Chief in planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily activities of the HQ USCENTCOM Operations Plans Division. Oversees the conduct of Contingency and crisis response operational planning to meet Combatant Command requirements. Applying operational experience, develops, analyzes, and evaluates detailed plans, goals, and objectives for Joint Planning Group activities as directed by the HQ USCENTCOM Command Planning Board which is chaired by the Deputy Commander, HQ USCENTCOM.
