Summary

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the Work Integration Branch, Operations Department of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

You will be assigned to specific projects and will fill various roles and functions as part of the Project Planning Team during the planning and execution of projects.

You will assist maintenance managers in the managing and planning of maintenance and modernization of aircraft carrier projects by providing technical response and corrective plans for short-fused maintenance deficiencies.

You will assist the ship in developing high level planning, work identification, and execution strategies incorporating lessons learned from previous projects.

You will identify jobs, associated man-hour estimates, material identification, work scheduling pertaining to the ship component and system maintenance, repair, and or manufacturing.

You will participate in development of the project execution strategy, ensuring all maintenance work is properly scheduled to support key events, milestones, and testing strategy and when conflicting work items are identified.

You will prepare final reports for work package development and certification results.
