Summary
You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the PHYSICAL SECURITY DIVISION ofNAVSTA GUANTANAMO BAY SEC DET .
Duties
You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist with responsibility for designing, developing, coordinating, and planning physical security and loss prevention, and conducting security surveys/inspections in support of the Command.
You will assist in the management of Electronic Harbor Security System and Perimeter Security and Surveillance System.
You will review policy directives from higher authority.
You will establish criteria and procedures for the conduct of inspections and surveys in the area of physical security and other special areas as required.
You will perform risk analysis and vulnerably assessments for each activity determined to be mission essential and/or vulnerable to loss resulting from espionage, sabotage, and theft
You will assist in the preparation and publication of general and special instructions (manuals), and ensure instructions are maintained current at all times and provide for needed security services.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
