Summary
You will serve as a LEAD EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in MATERIAL ORDERING BRANCH (Code 244.21) the of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will lead as the project material point of contact to coordinate material procurement and communicate material status to project team personnel.
You will coordinate, assign and process project assignments to ensure hazardous and special emphasis program requirements are in compliance and ready for installation in accordance with project schedules.
You will assign and balance team workload, adjust tasks to meet deadlines and ensure mission needs and goals are met.
You will train, mentor, and coach individuals in material processing, references and research tools to effectively and efficiently equip the shipyard in material ordering.
You will ensure all aspects of the advanced planning and execution material ordering functions are completed timely and cost effective to minimize work stoppages and effectively expend project budgets.
You will provide expertise to division personnel for complex technical matters regarding material identification, support objectives and strategies, procurement specifications, quality controls and process improvements.
You will manage the non-nuclear material program in compliance with environmental, nuclear, technical, safety, maintenance programs and special emphasis program requirements and perform periodic audits of material products and processes.
You will develop and administer material training, awareness and briefings for all personnel preparing and approving material related products.
