Summary

The Juror Clerk works in the Juror Office of the Special Operations Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Juror Clerk performs administrative, clerical, and customer service duties to support juror services in compliance with the Superior Court Jury Plan, applicable provisions of the D.C. Code, court rules, the Juror Office business processes and standard operating procedures, and the Superior Court Customer Service Protocol.

Duties

Brief Duties of the Position: Greets jurors and court stakeholders professionally; secures resources related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); shares relevant information; and resolves payment inquiries. Enters data and scans/validates juror bio-forms; manages the Jurors on Call system; processes notices; and responds to requests. Reviews reports to monitor compliance with standards and alerts management of deviations to improve data quality. Processes incoming and outgoing mail by opening, reviewing, and sorting. Responds to inquiries received in person, by telephone, email, voicemail, Live Chat, and eJuror. Ensures the efficient and fair management of jurors related to summoning, qualification, enrollment, selection, orientation, and payment. Collaborates with judicial chambers, United States Attorney's Office, and other stakeholders to support overall operations.

Requirements

A background and security investigation is required. A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Education

At a minimum, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED. You must upload a copy of your college transcript or degree for consideration.
