Summary
About the Position: Serves as Information Systems Management Specialist under the supervision of the Chief, Business Management Branch. Manages the identification and development of the resource requirements for the Information Technology (IT) program to support long range planning. Responsible for analyzing and formulating program requirements in support of multi-service information technology projects/programs involving joint service and DoD responsibilities at worldwide locations.
Duties
Collect, review, and analyze IT Program requirements from program managers to develop, plan and execute all phases of the budget life cycle.
Including POM, PB, and BES submissions while ensuring compliance with IT architecture standards and providing ongoing financial reporting and oversight to keep projects with approved funding.
Prepare, monitor, justify and defend the budget, acquisition schedule, and milestone portions of programs.
Review and analyze IT requirements and develops procedures for managing program budgets throughout their entire life cycle.
Responsible for all IT program financial planning and execution matters.
Provide budget planning and financial reporting for IT solutions, tracks IT program expenditures and provides financial status reports to ensure programs and projects remain within approved funding.
