Summary

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/LABOR RELATIONS in the BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL. Duties

You will provide expert technical advice and guidance to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues, including conduct, discipline, and performance management.

You will research, analyze, and interpret federal civil service regulations, agency policies, and case law to recommend appropriate corrective actions.

You will advise management on labor relations matters, including the interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and union contract requirements.

You will assist in preparing agency cases for third-party proceedings, such as arbitrations, mediations, and administrative hearings, by gathering and analyzing facts.

You will collaborate with managers to resolve employee grievances and complaints, facilitating productive communication to maintain positive workplace relations.

You will review and analyze proposed disciplinary and adverse actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, merit systems principles, and agency policy.

You will develop and deliver briefings, workshops, or training sessions to managers on performance management procedures and employee-management relations.

You will manage complex case files, tracking employee relations actions, analyzing trends, and maintaining required administrative records
