Summary

This position is located at Pine Bluff Arsenal in Pine Bluff Arkansas. This position serves as General Engineer, performing studies, conducting investigations and analyzing various operations to determine ways to improve methods, reduce costs, and increase efficiency while alleviating hazards.

Duties

Adjusts and applies established engineering practices in making significant changes to facilities, processes, line layouts, etc., to solve operational problems.

Conducts research for facilities and equipment improvements and procurements, gathers data from industry experts and local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and develops cost data analyses utilizing Command provided software.

Coordinates in-house system analyses and evaluation of contractor's analyses to determine the effects that design or proposed changes in design will have on performance and operating requirements.

Prepares economic analyses in accordance with guidance from Command Staff and higher headquarters.
