Summary

The incumbent serves as an Investigator Reviewer for the Office of Resolution Management (ORM). ORM Investigator Reviewers conduct reviews, provide technical guidance, and evaluate the reports of investigation completed by contractors in accordance with equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.

Duties

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reviews completed EEO investigations to determine compliance with EEOC MD-110, applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies prior to release for adjudication. Evaluates the sufficiency, relevance, and accuracy of evidence contained in investigative files, including witness statements, affidavits, personnel records, and organizational data. Provides concise feedback based on noted insufficiencies, outlining corrections to be performed prior to release of a completed investigation. Applies knowledge of EEO statutes, regulations, procedural decisions, and case law to interpret investigative requirements and resolve complex review issues. Ensures investigative records comply with Privacy Act, HIPAA, redaction standards, and VA information-security requirements.
