Summary
This position is located in the Criminal Division, Information Technology Management (ITM) unit. The Criminal Division is seeking an experienced IT program manager to serve as the Enterprise Solutions Architect. This position provides mission critical leadership on testing, adoption, integration, and implementation of all enterprise technologies and tools to support Criminal Division's core enterprise systems.
Duties
As an IT Program Manager (Enterprise Solutions Architect), you will: Manage the day-to-day patching, maintenance, hardware and software operation, and system changes for CRM's core enterprise systems. Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, and enhancement of systems operations and performance, systems requirements, and migration strategies for planned continuity of operations within and across the enterprise. Promote the awareness of security and migration strategies that affect continuity of IT operations. Provide leadership and direction to government and contract staff responsible for evaluating future applications and their impact on enterprise architecture. Serve as the lead for CRM's testing, adoption, integration, implementation, support, and maintenance for all DOJ-wide JMD-provided provided enterprise technologies and tools. Serve as a component and DOJ-level subject matter expert on enterprise technology and regularly coordinates with JMD on enterprise technology decisions. Provide leadership and direction for ongoing application of principles, policies, and procedures to maintain, monitor, control, and protect IT infrastructure and the information residing on such infrastructure during the operations phase of an IT system or application. Implement policies, procedures, and data access controls required to protect all categories of information and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information during all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
