***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Code C291 AEGIS Systems of Code C290 C5I Systems Division, Engineering and Planning Department of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY.

Duties

You will serve as an Aegis SPY radar Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of Fleet Technical Assists (FTAs) and Casualty Repairs (CASREPS) for Aegis Baseline 5,7, 9 C SPY radar transmitter variants and signal processors variants.

You will provide technical and engineering services in the performance, operation, maintenance, depot level repair and modernization, system testing/certification and fleet technical support of assigned systems and sub-systems on SPY RADAR systems.

You will participate in scheduled shipboard assessment events to assess and validate material and operational readiness on SPY RADAR systems.

You will identify, analyze, and document deficiencies necessary to develop comprehensive repair plans in support of depot level work packages and ship systems lifestyle programs for for the SPY RADAR system and sub-systems..

You will provide on-site resolution and/or correction of production, performance, or quality deficiencies on assigned systems for ships SPY RADAR system and sub-systems..
