Summary
About the Position: Serves as a non-supervisory Senior Contract Specialist for USACE, Omaha District; responsible for pre-award and post-award functions for procurements across a broad spectrum of contracts of significant importance to the agency and its customers.
Duties
Responsible for planning, awarding, and administering complex, high-value acquisitions in a high-tempo, mission-focused environment.
Oversees workload management, provides acquisition leadership throughout the procurement lifecycle, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Advises Division leadership on acquisition strategies and contract execution risks.
Coordinates with PDTs, Legal Counsel, and other stakeholders to resolve challenges, maintain schedules, and procurement lifecycle.
