Summary
This position is located within the USDA, Economic Research Service, Office of the Administrator, Director of Administrative and Financial Services, Budget Execution Staff. In this position, you will serve as a budget and financial advisor to the Agency Budget Officer. You will also serve as a subject matter expert for travel and acquisitions.
Duties
Participates in the formulation, coordination, and implementation of budget execution, updates, policies, plans and activities.
Oversees the annual projections for all major agency acquisitions, to include the reservation/movement of funds to ensure funds availability, and the review of all documents related to the acquisition.
Ensures that organization's mission, goals, and values are clearly communicated to staff, customers and stakeholders.
Conducts any amendments/corrections that need to be made to requisitions in the portal.
Develops performance and operational metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
